Studio laptops: Get ‘em quick!

Everybody, now is a great time to check out studio laptops. If you’ve ever seen these things, they’ll stick out in your mind in a hurry as extremely stylish, but also very capable laptops for just about anything you want to do with them. Today we’ll talk about some of the Studio laptops Dell has available, and talk about which ones might be better suited for gaming and other high-use processes.

If you want a really basic laptop that’ll do you just fine wherever you go, look no further than the Dell Studio 14z. This is their baseline model, and comes with a 14″ LCD display (pretty strange screen resolution, no?), and a variety of other nice components with very nice big numbers that makes everyone say “oooh” and “ahhh.” I suppose that’s what everyone wants, right? Well, try these on for size: It’s got a 2.2 GHz processor with Windows 7 installed on a 250 GB SATA hard drive. Even better, it’s got 3 GB of RAM, which is pretty ridiculous for a laptop in the price range it’s in. If you really want your laptop to look good, you can select a wide range of colors to help personalize your experience. Something to think about.

Now, Studio 15 laptops are the next step up over the 14″ model. This is much the same in terms of performance, but it does come with a 15″ screen that allows you to do better with gaming, movie watching, and whatever else you happen to do with it. These are a bit more customizable though, and even allow you to choose between the basic 1.6 GHz processor and the nice 2.2 GHz that comes on the Studio 14. The trade off for a slower processor? You get 4 GB of RAM instead of 3. That’s a good trade in my opinion if you don’t need the rampant processing power of the quick dual core. These laptops are just a bit more expensive, however, and start a couple hundred dollars more than the Studio 14. It all depends on what you need, really.

Last but not least, Studio 17 laptops are just one step above the 15.6″. This one is a very nice system that really allows you a lot of space to do any design work you may have, play games, or watch movies. This laptop is almost identical to the Studio 15, except that it has a larger screen. Everything up through the processors, RAM amounts, and hard drive space are the same.

Well, what are you waiting for? Go out and get your new Dell Studio laptop right now. ;)
