How to find the best small printer on the market?

If you’re looking for the best small printer, look no further than this article. Today we’re going to give you an inside scoop on a couple of the best small printers offered, both on the net and in the stores. The brand names are probably going to be pretty familiar, so what we’re going to talk about isn’t going to be surprising by any means.

So, why do you really need one of these small printers for your laptop? That question is easy to answer: Portability. Whenever you’re on the road for a business conference, going to see the family across the country, or doing whatever else you like to do, you’ll have a printer right then and there for your use. You won’t ever have to go searching for one to plug in to, have to work with unfamiliar drivers, or make a last minute run to Kinko’s. Nice, huh?

Should you go with a printer that’s specific for your operation, or should you go for an All-In-One system? I think the answer to that is “it depends.” Do you need to be able to copy, print, and fax at the same time? If so, an All-In-One is probably your best option. If you’re looking into that, you should look into the Canon line of printers, which offer a very good value for the price. We discussed how to buy a Canon printer on one of our previous posts, so click through that link I just made and you’ll be right there for that.

One of the Canons that I didn’t talk about in that last article is the Canon iP100. This is a very easy small photo printer to carry around with you, and has the ability to print in absolutely fantastic resolutions (up to 9600 x 2400 dpi). It’s lightweight (4.4 lbs), and has a multitude of other features such as the ability to handle bluetooth if you happen to want to print something straight from your digital camera or cell phone (both must also be bluetooth enabled). While this is a great little toy, it comes with a price tag that might be a little costly for some: $249.99 is the MSRP on this, and you can usually expect to pay that in the stores. Online, that might be a completely different matter.

If you don’t like Canon, try the HP line. HP offers a great small laser printer in the H470 series. These are a little bit more bulky than the Canon cousin, but still give you a great amount of portability and usefulness whenever you’re on the go. This is a bit heavier, however, weighing in at 9 lbs (twice the weight of the iP100), but is actually less expensive than that model. The choice is yours.

Good luck finding the perfect small printer for you! We hope this article helped.
