Where to find refurb white laptops

Refurb white laptops are a hot ticket item right now. You show yourself as a person with a lot of style when people see you with one. The only issue with this is that unless you want to spend a lot of money for a Mac, the white laptop selection in PC format is a little thin. Most people do end up using Windows vs. Mac (as strange as that sounds), so it’d be nice to have a good selection of multi-colored laptops, white included. Don’t worry though, there are laptops around that do come in white, and even have that nice “refurbished” sticker on them that really brings the price down. You just need to know where you should look.

The first place you should look for white refurbished laptops is the original factory site. Who built the laptop you want? Well, start there. If it’s an ASUS you want, go onto the ASUS website and search through their online marketplace. There’s a good chance that what you’re looking for is located right there. However, keep in mind that the manufacturer itself is probably going to drive up the price more than an outside retailer. This goes for any type of laptop, refurb or new, so that shouldn’t be unexpected at all. The manufacturer will usually try to profit on the fact that most people will be more comfortable buying straight from them, so they’ll be more apt to buy something at a higher price just to ensure a trustworthy purchase. There is certainly some benefit to that, of course. If you don’t think the outside vendor selling you a refurb white laptop is trustworthy, you may be better of spending a little bit more money. But keep in mind that most third-party refurbishment companies are just good businesses trying to make a buck. Do some research on which ones people trust before making a purchase. Doing an online search is probably best for this.

Refurb white laptops are also going to have a higher price tag than a normal black color laptop. That’s simply a function of supply and demand. More people wanting a white one is going to drive the price up further than people looking for a simple black laptop. You could see the price for a white computer about 5-10% more than a standard black one, which could outright erase the savings you might have had by going for a refurb vs. new. So, this begs the question: Do you really need a white laptop?
